Erich-Mäder-Glasmuseum

Glassmaking in the Hils hills, from the Middle Ages onwards, is the subject of this museum in Grünenplan. The main building traces glass production from antiquity to today and shows finds from excavated glassworks. A former glassmaker's house in the historic quarter tells the story of Grünenplan as a glassmaking village from 1744, with glassmakers' tools and an exhibit on local bird breeding.
