At Vienenburg station, a railway society shows its vehicles in an open-air setting. The outdoor grounds hold locomotives and carriages, including a small shunting locomotive last used at the Peine mineral oil works, and express carriages that are being restored bit by bit. A stop for anyone who likes to see railway engineering up close.
