Dorfmuseum Nordhausen

Housed in the last building in Nordhausen still built in the style of the village's founding era, this museum tells the story of the Waldensians. Display boards on the ground floor trace the movement from its beginnings to today's Waldensian Church in Italy. Upstairs, the rooms cover that church's development and the history of the Waldensian settlement at Nordhausen, along with a few smaller exhibits. The Waldenserzeichen monument to the village founders stands right next door.
