Deutsches Röntgen-Museum

Remscheid, Nordrhein-Westfalen

In Lennep, the birthplace of Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, this museum uses 2,100 square metres to explain his work and his discovery of X-rays in 1895. It occupies an old Bergisch patrician house at the edge of the old town, and its cellar can be explored. In the extension, two floors present further imaging technologies up to modern medicine. There is a shop and a few café tables at the entrance.
