Deutsches Hutmuseum Lindenberg

Lindenberg im Allgäu, Bayern

A former hat factory houses the story of hat making, hat fashion and Lindenberg as a hat town. On the top floor, raw materials, tools and models show how straw and felt hats were made, including the straw splitter, one of Bavaria's 100 Heimatschätze. Below, hats from three centuries surround the Huttornado sculpture, with hats worn by figures such as Udo Lindenberg and the Queen.
