Dauerausstellung: Jüdisches Leben in Bad Kissingen

Bad Kissingen, Bayern

On the first floor of the Jewish community house on Promenadestraße, five rooms trace the history of Jews in Bad Kissingen, from the earliest settlement through integration and exclusion to persecution and murder. The display cases hold documents, photographs and ritual objects, including a Torah scroll, an Esther scroll and old books. A large photo documentation follows the community up to the present day. A guided tour helps with the technical terms and the meaning of the exhibits.
