Das Tirol Panorama

Innsbruck, Tirol

On the Bergisel in the south of Innsbruck, this museum is home to the Giant Panorama Painting by Michael Zeno Diemer. Spread over 1,000 square metres of canvas, it depicts the Tyrolean Rebellion of 1809, fought in the surrounding area. The permanent exhibition Schauplatz Tirol explores religion, nature, politics and people, and leads underground to the Kaiserjäger Museum.
