Centrum Nowoczesności Młyn Wiedzy w Toruniu

Toruń, kujawsko-pomorskie

The restored Richter mills in Toruń's Mokre district, built around 1900, now house a hands-on science centre. Six floors and about 5,000 square metres hold exhibition halls, science workshops and spaces designed for children. A highlight is the Foucault pendulum: a 35-kilogram chrome ball hangs on a 33-metre cable from the roof to the ground floor, showing the Earth's rotation.
