Centralne Muzeum Włókiennictwa
Górniak, łódzkie
Textiles are the subject here, in Ludwik Geyer's White Factory on Piotrkowska street in Łódź, an industrial complex built between 1835 and 1886, with a tall chimney and water towers. The museum holds the largest textile collection in Europe and was the first of its kind in the world. The factory itself is part of the visit, as an early conversion of industrial architecture into a museum.
