Bunker Ladeburg

Bernau bei Berlin, Brandenburg

North of Berlin, near Ladeburg, stands a two-storey bunker built in 1983 to 1985 for East Germany's air defence. It served as the command post of a National People's Army anti-aircraft missile brigade, from which up to ten missile units could be directed. Partly dismantled after reunification, it was secured and preserved by an association and can now be seen on guided tours.
