Brücke-Museum Berlin

Berlin, Berlin

For anyone drawn to the Expressionism of the Brücke group, this Dahlem museum holds the largest coherent collection of their work in the world. Karl Schmidt-Rottluff's donation formed its foundation, with further gifts from Erich Heckel. Only part of the holdings is on show at a time, in thematic displays. The building by Werner Düttmann dates from 1967.
