In the Amerlinghaus cultural centre on the Spittelberg, this small museum uses over 500 items to trace the history of Neubau and the villages it grew from, including Schottenfeld, Alt-Lerchenfeld, St. Ulrich and Spittelberg. It looks at the district's trades, above all textile work, and its change into a middle-class residential area.
