Baumannsche Mühle

This 1799 mill on the Echaz ground grain until 1963 and from 1941 also generated electricity. Its working equipment spreads over four floors and came from another Pfullingen mill that has since been demolished. A mid-breast waterwheel turns in the wheel room, which a fish ladder also passes through. The former living quarters house the Württemberg costume museum of the Swabian Alb Association, which doubles as an information point for the Swabian Alb biosphere area.
