Bajasseum

Enkenbach-Alsenborn, Rheinland-Pfalz

Alsenborn was once known as a village of tightrope walkers and circus artists, and this small circus museum in the middle of the village tells that story. The displays are arranged by era and take you backwards from the present day into the past. Among them is what is billed as the smallest circus in the world, a model built by Herbert Guth. The name comes from the village too: Bajass is the nickname of the people of Alsenborn.
