Augustinermuseum Rattenberg

Rattenberg, Tirol

In Rattenberg's former Augustinian monastery, founded in 1385, the museum shows mainly sacred art from the Tyrolean part of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. The visit takes in the Gothic cloister, the late Gothic Hofer Chapel, the Baroque Ecce Homo Chapel and the large monastery church. The historic buildings are a draw in themselves. The museum opened in 1993.
