Archäologisches Museum Essenbach

Essenbach, Bayern

Two attic rooms in the Heimathaus tell the settlement history of the middle Isar valley. More than three hundred finds all come from the municipal area, including pieces from nearby Altheim, which gave the Altheim group its name, and from a Bavarian row-grave cemetery. The museum also shows how a 55-tonne Roman tile kiln was salvaged.
