Alter Amtsturm, Stadtmuseum
Lübz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The town museum occupies the Amtsturm, the last remnant of Lübz's Eldenburg castle, built between 1306 and 1308. Four floors cover the castle, the growth from village to town, local crafts and life around 1900. A narrow spiral staircase leads up to the room with its rare cell vault and the tower clock of 1856, where the Lübz brewery is also presented.
