Allgäu-Schwäbisches Dorfschulmuseum

In Daxberg's old schoolhouse, built in 1885, you can sit in a village classroom much as it was decades ago, when all eight year groups were taught together. The schoolroom, with its raised teacher's desk, two-seater benches and tiled stove, is furnished with original 1940s pieces. Old writing tools, a mechanical counting machine and many schoolbooks are meant to be handled.
