Spielzeugmuseum

Four centuries of toys are spread over four floors of the old town hall tower on Marienplatz. You will find trains, cars, airplanes, teddy bears, dolls, toy kitchens, wooden toys, Barbies and robots, all in quaint tower rooms that feel like a doll's house. The cash desk is up a spiral staircase, while the exhibition itself can be reached by elevator. There is also a section on the history of the teddy bear and Margarete Steiff.
