Niedersächsisches Spargelmuseum

Here you can follow asparagus from field to table: the exhibition covers growing, harvesting, processing and selling it, across 120 years of asparagus history around Nienburg. On show are historic machines, tools and equipment from Nienburg's asparagus businesses. The museum occupies a hall house almost 400 years old, set in the garden of the Quaet-Faslem-Haus; it began as a farmhouse in Dolldorf and was moved to Nienburg in 1963.
