Thüringer Freilichtmuseum Hohenfelden

Around 30 historic buildings from villages in central Thuringia stand here in the open air, including houses that could not have been preserved where they were. They are presented as a whole, in surroundings modelled on their original setting, and show rural life in the region. The main group lies at the Eichenberg north of Hohenfelden, with further buildings in the village itself, linked by a museum path.
