Sztolnia Królowa Luiza

Visitors go down into the old coal workings of Zabrze: almost 5 km of disused underground passages where the former Queen Luiza mine meets the Hauptschlüssel drainage adit. Above ground there are historic buildings, including an engine house with a working steam engine, a chain bathhouse and the Carnall shaft with its tower. A viewing platform tops the tower, so the visit can end with a look over the area. The complex has three separate sites around Zabrze.
