Síň voroplavby na Vltavě

Timber rafting once gave the Vltava valley its distinctive character, and this small hall in Purkarec, near Hluboká nad Vltavou, recalls the hard work and bygone glory of the raftsmen. It stands right by the river and is devoted to this vanished way of floating wood downstream. A fitting stop for anyone travelling along the Vltava who likes the history of old trades.
