Schloss Weikersheim
Weikersheim, Baden-Württemberg
A medieval moated castle on the Tauber was expanded into a Renaissance palace from 1595, the ancestral seat of the Hohenlohe family. The old keep was kept as a reminder of its history, and the palace chapel is part of the complex. In front of the south wing, a baroque garden from the early 18th century opens out toward the Tauber valley.
