Sächsisches Eisenbahnmuseum

Steam, diesel and electric locomotives stand on the grounds of the former Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf locomotive depot. Two listed roundhouses with turntables survive, along with coaling facilities, water cranes and other depot equipment. The exhibition traces the development of the railway in Saxony, and there are working narrow-gauge field railway engines too.
