Muzeum T. G. M. Rakovník

A museum in Rakovník devoted to the local region and to T. G. Masaryk. The main building on Žižkovo náměstí is a protected monument, the Baroque former palace of the Cistercians, where the collections settled for good in 1936. Further exhibitions are housed in other buildings around town. Branches include the Masaryk museum in Lány, the museum in Nové Strašecí and the Joachim Barrande memorial in Skryje.
