Muzeum Policie České republiky

Set in a former Augustinian monastery in Karlov, this museum traces the history of the gendarmerie, police and other security forces in the Czech lands and Czechoslovakia. The cloister walk covers 1850 to 1938, followed by the war years and the postwar period. Upstairs and in adjoining halls are displays on criminology, border protection, traffic policing, drug enforcement and police equipment.
