Muzeum Mazowsza Zachodniego w Żyrardowie

The museum occupies the grand villa of Karol Dittrich junior in Żyrardów, a former factory settlement built around a linen mill. It opened in 1961, though the idea of a museum recording the story of the town and its factory goes back to the early 20th century and the local activist Józef Procner.
