Museum Oberschönenfeld
Gessertshausen, Bayern
The museum occupies the old farm buildings of Oberschönenfeld Abbey, set in the Augsburg Western Woods nature park. Its permanent exhibitions show everyday life in Bavarian Swabia over the last 200 years, with original objects, photographs and texts on country living and working. The Schwäbische Galerie presents art by artists from the region. The Hammerschmiede Naichen near Neuburg an der Kammel is an outpost of the museum.
