Museum Jerke
Recklinghausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Modern Polish art is the sole subject here, and according to the Polish Institute in Düsseldorf it is the first museum outside Poland to show only that. The privately run museum opened in 2016 in Recklinghausen's old town, opposite the Propsteikirche St. Peter. Its modern building with a pointed gabled roof contrasts with the historic surroundings, and a restaurant is part of it.
