Museum Bünde
Bünde, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Three museums share Bünde's museum island. The Doberg museum displays fossils from the Doberg hill, including an Oligocene sea cow. The tobacco and cigar museum tells of the local cigar industry and shows what is claimed to be the world's largest cigar. The district heritage museum covers life in the Ravensberger Land, with a fully preserved 19th-century grocer's shop.
