Museum 1806

Near Cospeda, this museum is devoted to the twin battle of Jena and Auerstedt on 14 October 1806, which began within sight of the building. Original items from the battle and the war help visitors picture its course and tactics. The display also explains the causes, background and consequences of Prussia's defeat by Napoleon.
