Müritzeum

On the shore of the Müritz in Waren, this museum covers nature and the environment of the Mecklenburg Lake District across about 2,300 square metres. It is divided into birdlife, forest and nature, an aquarium landscape and a museum garden. Behind it stand the state's natural history collections, with more than 285,000 specimens on the flora, fauna and geology of the inland region.
