Right beside the Märklin factory in Göppingen, the Märklineum traces the brand's path from a small maker of tin toys to a world-known producer of metal toys and model railways. The exhibition spreads over five levels and about 3,000 square metres, with a look into children's rooms of past centuries. A model railway layout with a day-and-night projection is part of the visit.
