Lohmühlenmuseum
Tambach-Dietharz, Thüringen
The old Lohmühle stands in the Apfelstädt valley at the foot of the Rennsteig, between Georgenthal and Tambach-Dietharz. The former mill and works site now holds a museum of local history and technology, set in broad grounds with ponds. It is run privately by the family, and visits and guided tours are arranged in advance. An inn is part of the site.
