Landesmuseum Birkenfeld
Birkenfeld, Rheinland-Pfalz
Built in 1910 in the style of a Roman country house, this museum presents over 2000 years of history from the Birkenfeld area. Permanent displays range from Celts and Romans through the Wittelsbachs and the Principality of Birkenfeld under Oldenburg to the local iron industry. There is also an old classroom and a collection of historic irons.
