Kulturhistorisches Museum Rostock

Beside the Klosterhof, this museum presents art and cultural history from Rostock and its region. It grew out of citizens' collecting in 1859, at first as an art and antiquities museum. Since 1901 it has occupied the converted Societät building, and an ethnographic collection was later added.
