Izba Śląska

In Giszowiec, an early 20th-century building that once held stables and a coach house has been fitted out in traditional Silesian style. It shows paintings and mementoes of the regional painter Ewald Gawlik, who had rooms here, along with old furniture and everyday objects collected mostly by miners and local residents. The theme throughout is the culture and art of Upper Silesia.
