Institut für moderne Kunst Nürnberg

This is a place to dig into contemporary art rather than just look at it. Its archive holds around 550,000 items, including some 15,000 dossiers on German and international artists. The reference library sits in the Neues Museum building and doubles as its museum library. The institute also puts on exhibitions and publishes books.
