Heimatmuseum Meerane
Meerane, Sachsen
Housed in the Old Town Hall on the market square, this museum tells the story of Meerane. Exhibits include a 12th-century silver denarius recalling the town's first mention in 1174, and the Willkomm, a tankard of the weavers' guild. Further displays cover weaving, natural medicine, the car industry and everyday life in the past. A separate exhibition honours Werner Bochmann.
