Heimatmuseum Leer

This local history museum in the middle of Leer shows how people in the town once lived and worked. It occupies two 18th-century buildings on Neue Strasse, former packing and trading houses in the Dutch Classicist style. The collection grew out of an antiquarian society formed in 1889, and it also traces the history of the town itself.
