Handwerksmuseum Suhlendorf
Suhlendorf, Niedersachsen
On the Mühlenberg hill above Suhlendorf, in the glacial moraine landscape of the Lüneburg Heath, an open-air site shows the crafts of the first half of the 20th century. Ten buildings house the workshops of 26 trades. A highlight is the post windmill Auguste, which stood near Braunschweig until 1973 and was rebuilt here. The grounds are step-free.
