Grube Tannenberg
Muldenhammer, Sachsen
This former tin mine in Saxony's Vogtland lies south of Tannenbergsthal, in the Schneckenstein district, and is now a visitor mine. About 150 metres inside the tunnel you can see the contact zone between granite and slate. Tin ore was already being mined in the area in the late 15th century.
