Gedenkstätte Ahlem

On the grounds of the former Jewish horticultural school in Ahlem, this memorial and learning site recalls the persecution of Jews under the Nazis. The exhibition in the old director's house traces the history of the school and of the Jewish residents of Hanover and the surrounding district. A documentation covers the nearby Hannover-Ahlem concentration camp subcamp. The displays were redesigned between 2012 and 2014.
