A farmstead of the early medieval Saxons has been rebuilt here, based on finds from excavations nearby. The site in Greven-Pentrup evokes life in the 6th to 8th centuries, and its main house was moved here from Gittrup. In the fields, crops and arable weeds of that era are grown as experiments.
