Ernst-Barlach-Museum Wedel

Ernst Barlach was born in 1870 in this neoclassical corner house of 1835 on the market square, which is now an art museum. It stages changing exhibitions of contemporary art and classical modernism, and regularly turns to popular culture. The museum opened in 1987 and is run by the Hamburg Ernst Barlach Gesellschaft.
