Around a restored windmill, this village museum recreates rural life in Ostfriesland of earlier times. Its themes are milling technology, school and crafts, farming, and the settlement of the moor. Workshops and farm tools from the surrounding area have been gathered here, and everything is meant to be touched, so you can experience the past hands-on.
