Two real tugboats serve as both the exhibits and the museum itself: the paddle steamer Ruthof / Érsekcsanád and the diesel-powered Freudenau. The museum shows how shipping on the Danube and other rivers developed, the technology involved and the daily life of inland boatmen. Artworks on the theme are included too.
