Deutsches Bunkermuseum
Schweinfurt, Bayern
Housed in a wartime high-rise bunker in Schweinfurt's Oberndorf district, this museum is about air raid and civil defence in the Second World War. Schweinfurt was bombed repeatedly because of its ball-bearing industry, and the bunker, built with workers of the Fichtel & Sachs company in mind, shows how people sought shelter. It opened in 2014 and stands opposite the company's former headquarters.
