Der Rote Haubarg
Witzwort, Schleswig-Holstein
Despite its name, the Red Haubarg is white, a 17th-century farmhouse under a huge thatched roof on the Eiderstedt peninsula, halfway between Husum and Friedrichstadt. Besides a restaurant and café, the building holds a museum. A legend has long been attached to its construction.
